Holy Shit I Did It!!

Today is my one year anniversary of being SMOKE FREE!!!! All off you who know me know what an amazing feat this is! I am so proud of myself and am already looking forward to my TWO year anniversary!

Too Cool

Every year the 8th graders at Sussex split into 2 bands and battle it out in front of the rest of the school. This year each band wrote the music and lyrics to 2 songs and performed both for everyone else. This is the second song that Joeys band wrote and, in my opinion, the best one. Check out the rock star in his first on-stage performance!

So last night i took Joey to see the Harlem Globetrotters for the very 1st time...he LOVED it! I was a little unsure going in, worried they just wouldnt measure up to my memories of Curley, Geese, and Meadowlark Lemon. It turns out my worries were for nought...they were WONDERFUL! I'm not sure which was more fun, watching them or watching Joeys face! His belly laugh at them pantsing an opponent was contagious, and more than worth the $25.00 for the official Globtrotters Basketball. We were able to get Hi-Lites' autograph after the show, and then went to the Big Dipper for ice-cream. *NOTE: their Green Tea ice cream is wonderful...but MUST be caffeinated because I was up until 3:30 am!* He went to bed smiling and saying," They were so funny" over and over again.

Thanks Mom and Dad for the tickets and for a wonderful memory we will both always smile at!!!

Oh My God! He Did It!!!

Hubby did it! He won 1st place in the nature category of the museums photo competition. This is the very first competition Jason has entered in. it was for professionals and amateurs alike. We just got the news a couple of hours ago and I just HAD to run home to post it! THIS is the winning picture! *KISSES* Congrats my love. I knew you could do it!
